Market Participants
Responsible for the financial instruments listed on the LFX.
Either an entity or individual licensed by the Exchange to carry out its functions and responsibilities.
Listing Sponsors can be institutions such as Investment Houses, Investment/Merchant Banks, Fund Managers, Trust Companies, Accounting Firms and Investment/Corporate Lawyers, both international and local institutions.
The roles and responsibilities of a Listing Sponsor are:
- Packaging of financial instruments for listing subject to LFX's listing criteria.
- Underwriting and placement of the financial instruments listed.
- Undertake the tasks of an Issuing House.
- Post-listing obligations.
