SME Corp
SME Corporation Malaysia (SME Corp. Malaysia) is the central coordinating agency under the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development Malaysia that coordinates the implementation of development programmes for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across all related Ministries and agencies. It acts as the central point of reference for research and data dissemination on SMEs and entrepreneurs, as well as provides business advisory services for SMEs and entrepreneurs throughout the country. SME Corp. Malaysia also assumes the role of the Secretariat to the National Entrepreneur and SME Development Council (NESDC) (formerly known as National SME Development Council (NSDC)), which is chaired by the Prime Minister of Malaysia.

MDEC
Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation Sdn. Bhd. or MDEC (formerly known as Multimedia Development Corporation Sdn. Bhd.) is the lead agency in driving the digital economy in Malaysia under the Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia. Since its inception in 1996, MDEC’s mission is to develop the nation’s digital economy. MDEC’s implementation efforts are centred on driving investments, building local tech champions, catalysing digital innovation ecosystems and propagating digital inclusivity.

TERAJU
Unit Peneraju Agenda Bumiputera (TERAJU) is a strategic unit under the Ministry of Economic Affairs with the purpose of leading, driving and coordinating the Bumiputera agenda.

MTDC
Malaysia Technology Development Corporation (MTDC), a company wholly-owned by Khazanah Nasional Berhad, is in the business of Fund Management, Incubation, Advisory, and Nurturing Services. The company was established in 1992 to promote the adoption of technologies by local companies via commercialisation activities of local inventions or acquisition of foreign technologies. MTDC has been the key player in commercialisation and managing of Government funds since the 7th Malaysia Plan and it also has a well-established reputation as the key player in Malaysia in the promotion of technology-based companies.
